Pulse firmly believes that effective student representation can only be achieved through sound, strong, and wide-ranging policies. The organisation has indeed been at the forefront in this regard for years, spurring discussion and debate, and ensuring that students make their opinions heard in all issues affecting their educational experience and future prospects.

Throughout the years, Pulse has proved itself to be an effective representative of the student body by constantly serving as a platform to voice their opinions on a wide array of issues. Through its policy documents, campaigns, debates, and discussions organised, Pulse has been present in all the major issues of recent years, ensuring that students make their voice heard loud and clear. Examples include the ‘Manifestos under the Lens’ reaction to the parties’ electoral programmes, the Pre-Budget Document Reaction Documents, as well as recently, the Decriminalisation Debate.
