Sir M.A. Refalo Gozo

In December 2013, Pulse became the first student organisation to be officially recognised at the Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form, Gozo’s only post-secondary institution. Following the organisation’s official entry in MCAST, the recognition at the Gozo Sixth Form was another step in the organisation’s long-standing mission to be the natural representative of all students in Malta and Gozo. Furthermore, the move came about following years of active representation of Gozitan students, with Pulse championing amongst others the issue of public transport accessibility to Gozitan University students, as well as the need for stronger representation through the introduction of a Gozo relations officer in the KSU statute – following a motion presented by Pulse. In October, Pulse participated in the first-ever Freshers’ Week organised at the Gozo Sixth Form, kickstarting a year which promises to be interesting and packed with exciting projects and initiatives aimed at improving the standard of education of Gozitan students by putting them at the centre of student representation.
